New “Guitar Hero” commercial

A few weeks back, I posted this about how director Brett Ratner and a huge crew used the big soundstage here Trailblazer Studios to tape college basketball coaches Rick Pitino, Roy Williams, Mike Krzyzewski, and Bobby Knight getting their best Tom Cruise on ala Risky Business — while attired in their shorts. Well, here’s the ad:

Our soundstage was painted for green screen — which explains how none of the coaches was here at the same time. Day one, we had Roy Williams and Rick Pitino. Day two, Coach K and Bobby Knight. Metallica was shot in San Francisco. For more, here’s an article in today’s RNO.
