RIP: Don LaFontaine
“Who’s Don LaFontaine,” you ask? Simply the talent known as “The Voice” in Hwood. Don recorded over 5,000 trailers and made the phrase “in a world where…” famous. Here he is doing his schtick in a Geico ad:
