Screenwriting Master Class tip of the week: You may have read about my Pages II: Rewriting Your Script online class here. We have a great group already enrolled with writers from the U.S., U.K., and Australia. There are two slots left for the workshop which begins Monday, April 13.
Here’s the thing about this course: In it, you will not only assess your current draft, identify what works and what doesn’t work, workshop solutions to the problem areas, create a revision outline, then rewrite and edit your script, all in 10 weeks, you will also learn a process for rewriting you can adopt and adapt for all of your future projects.
I’m not what we use in Pages II is the way to approach rewriting. I don’t believe there is one right way to write… or rewrite. What I am saying is this take on rewriting works… if you do the work.
So if you’ve got a script that needs a rewrite, here is a great opportunity to work with a diverse group of writers along me acting as your mentor throughout the process.

As I always say, you don’t need to spend a dime to learn the craft of screenwriting. Watch movies. Read scripts. Write pages. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Do that for enough time and you can get to where you need to get.
