This week’s writing deals and movie project news.

Jon Lucas and Scott Moore writing the sequel “A Bad Moms Christmas” for STX Entertainment.

Jandy Nelson adapting her novel “The Sky is Everywhere” for Warner Bros.

While there may be a few more 2016 spec script deals surfacing in the next few weeks, the current year-end totals are: 75 deals in 2016 which represents a 27% increase compared to 55 deals in 2015.
