I am believing it. Great time to be writing a screenplay. People are going to the movies. And watching films everywhere else, too. Beyond $$$, it has been a great year for film. So many I loved: Roma, Black Panther, Leave No Trace, The Favourite, If Beale Street Could Talk, Vice, Cold War, Eighth Grade, A Quiet Place, Black KkKlansman, A Star Is Born, Can You Ever Forgive Me?, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, First Reformed, At Eternity’s Gate. On and on. So many more.
Good scripts of all kinds are being made. The light at the end of the tunnel is brightening, widening out. Dreams come true. The movie business is alive. Keep writing. The time is now. Happy New Year.
