Spec Script Deal: “Blood Count”

Paramount Pictures acquires supernatural thriller spec script “Blood Count” written by Peter Ramsey. Via Deadline:

Details are being kept in the coffin, but it is described as a film noir social thriller set in 1950s L.A. with supernatural elements.

Ramsey, who is also attached to direct the project, is repped by Verve.

By my count, this is the 4th spec script deal in 2022.
