Hulu acquires action spec script “The Princess” written by Ben Lustig and Jake Thornton. Via Deadline:
…while the logline is being kept under wraps, spec is described as Rapunzel meets The Raid.
I did some searching and found this story description:
After her castle is overrun and she is imprisoned atop its highest tower, a fierce Princess must fight her way out to save her parents and her kingdom. She’s not a damsel in distress and this isn’t your typical fairy tale.
Lustig and Thornton are repped by UTA and Circle of Confusion.
By my count, this is the 21st spec script deal in 2020.
