Spec Script Sale: “Dreamt”

Safady Entertainment acquires psychological thriller spec script “Dreamt” from writer Andrew Alexander. From the company’s press release:

“Dreamt,” is a story set in modern day, where two people have a supernatural connection and therefore are actually dreaming in each other’s lives. Conflict ensues after the men discover each other’s existence, leading one man to try to take over the other’s life and stopping at nothing to get it.

Alexander is repped by Original Artists.

By my count, this is the 92nd spec script sale of 2011.

In 2010, only 55 spec scripts sold.

In 2009, only 68 spec scripts sold.

Spec script sales are up 88% year-to-date compared to 2010.
