Spec Script Sale: “Home Invasion”

Voltage Pictures acquires thriller spec script “Home Invasion” written by first-timer Joseph Dembner. From Deadline:

The plot is being kept under wraps, but the title offers clues aplenty. I’m told the story involves a family imprisoned in their own home by intruders who play a life-and-death game in which the mysterious rules become clear as the night unfolds.

The deal was reported April 24, 2013.

Dembner is repped by Benderspink.

By my count, this is the 40th spec script sale of 2012.

There were 46 spec script sales year-to-date in 2013.
