Spec Script Sale: “It’s On”

Gulfstream Pictures acquires comedy spec script “It’s On” written by Scott Rothman. From Deadline:

Rothman’s a hot commodity right now after his Draft Day co-written with Rajiv Joseph topped the 2012 Black List. It’s now set for a May 2014 release by Summit/Oddlot co-starring Jennifer Garner and directed by Ivan Reitman.

Rothman is repped by CAA and Kaplan/Perrone.

By my count, this is the 83rd spec script sale in 2013.

There were 90 spec script sales year-to-date in 2012.
