Spec script sale: “Liam McGain: International Tennis Star and Proper English Geezer”

Warner Bros. picks up “Liam McGain” faux bio comedy spec Chip Hall for Peter Segal to direct:

Segal will develop to direct a film that follows the rise, fall and ultimate redemption of a fictional British tennis star of the ‘80s.

A lot of these fake bio-pics and mockumentaries over the last couple of decades, although my favorite still has to be This Is Spinal Tap (1984).
