Spec Script Sale: “Man of War”

Lotus Entertainment and Sourian Productions acquire thriller spec script “Man of War” written by Joseph Sousa. From THR:

Written by New York-based playwright Joseph Sousa, the script is described as in the same vein as Behind Enemy Lines or First Blood. It follows an elite Navy Seal who, after escaping from capture, must use all his skills to survive in Europe’s Carpathian mountains in the dead of winter.

Sousa is repped by CAA.

By my count, this is the 62nd spec script sale of 2013.

There were 68 spec script sales year-to-date in 2012.
