Spec script sale: “Shimmer Lake”

First time writer Oren Uziel sells spec bank heist mystery “Shimmer Lake” to Fox Atomic:

“Lake” centers on a sheriff investigating a series of murders as well as the disappearance of a bank robber, with clues and the movie’s timeline leading back to a heist the robber committed.

The Endeavor-repped Uziel’s script was a finalist in the drama category at the writer-centric Austin Film Festival last year; the festival has given rise to a host of new talent over the years and also draws established talent like Shane Black.

Another first-timer. Good to see!
