Spec Script Sale: “The Civilian”

Millennium Films acquires action spec script “The Civilian” written by Rachel Long and Brian Pittman. Via Deadline:

In The Civilian, an American doctor has his identity stolen by a covert operative. The only way he can clear his name is to assume the dangerous mission of the spy who stole it.

Deal is for a reported mid-six figures.

Long and Pittman are repped by UTA and manager Scott Carr.

By my count, this is the 77th spec script sale of 2013.

There were 87 spec script sales in 2012.
