Twitter Recommendation: @goodonthepage

Screenwriter Mike Sweeney (@Courier12) has created a must-follow Twitter account: @goodonthepage. I started following it immediately upon seeing it pop up on my feed. I asked Mike to provide background on it:

I was talking with some other writers on Twitter about how there are many websites and/or Twitter accounts that like to post iconic shots from famous films and talk about the director and DP (which is, of course, a really great way to celebrate movies) but we were saying that there wasn’t really anything similar for screenwriters. We thought it would be cool if there was a Twitter account that would share scenes from those same kinds of iconic movies, but in script form, so that we could honor the writer’s contribution. So I set up the account and started posting pages and some of my colleagues have been contributing as well. We just thought it was a great way to get more attention to the written word and how writers are so important in crafting the movies and movie moments we love.

A welcome addition to the online screenwriting universe, one you should definitely follow.
