Update: Spec Script Sales 2008

Dan Halsted, who as an agent was the point man in the sale of K-9, emailed me that I missed out on a spec script sale last year, a project Dan’s producing, “Tenn” by writer Robin Shushan. Per this Daily Variety article:

Taylor Hackford is prepping to direct “Tenn,” a drama about the formative years of playwright Tennessee Williams, whose dysfunctional family life fueled some of his most acclaimed stage works.

Robin Shushan has written the screenplay.

Infinity Media’s Michael Ohoven (“Capote”) is financing development and will produce with Dan Halsted.

Dan has an extensive background in Hollywood — agent, studio exec, producer and now manager with his own company MANAGE-MENT. His movie producing credits include Nixon (1995), Any Given Sunday (1999), Serving Sara (2002), and Garden State (2004).
