An excellent 8 minute dive into the hit crime musical.
An excellent 8 minute dive into the hit crime musical.
One of the biggest cinematic delights in 2017 is Baby Driver. Written and directed by Edgar Wright, the modestly priced crime musical — production budget a reported $34M — has generated worldwide box office revenues to the tune of $221M.
That’s some seriously good ROI.
Everything about it is great: Directing, cast, music, action, characters, an unbelievable amount of setups and payoffs. For a writer such as myself, the most satisfying aspect of Baby Driver is this: It’s got a good story.

Such an enjoyable movie and as the video points out, we can’t help but root for Baby and his plight.
