Video: “Sundance screenwriters on writing for independent film”
A special video today from WGA.org, a series of interviews with writers at this year’s Sundance Film Festival:
Writers whose screenplays are independently produced look toward film festivals and markets as a way to introduce their projects to the public and the industry. At this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Angle On spoke with the writers of Against the Current, The Informers, Taking Chance, 500 Days of Summer, and The Messenger, and asked them what they learned about getting their independent voices heard.
If you check out the video, you’ll once again here the mantra: “Write the best script you can.”
