Which spec scripts have been made into movies?

I get this question every so often, but of late due to some kind of odd harmonic convergence, a number of inquiries asking me this: Which spec scripts have been made into movies?

That reminds me how we have this great database: The Definitive Spec Script Sales List [1991–2013]. So what if we crowdsourced an answer to the question?

I can get things started. I’ve gone through the list of spec scripts before 1991, not stretching back to 1932 and the first spec script to get produced (The Power and the Glory, written by the great Preston Sturges), but rather the 1980s. The database we have is not comprehensive, however there are several specs we know for a fact which did get made:

Lethal Weapon (Year of sale: 1984)
The Highlander (1985)
K-9 (1987)
Basic Instinct (1990)
Flatliners (1990)
The Last Boyscout (1990)
The Prince of Thieves (1990)
Radio Flyer (1990)
The Rest of Daniel (1990)

Obviously there were many more pre-1991, but this is a start.

So are there any hearty souls willing to dive into the 1991–2013 database and post in comments spec scripts they think got produced? Our list won’t be exhaustive, but it could be helpful in seeing generally what percentage of specs actually made it into theaters or as home video. What genres may be the most likely to get produced. Perhaps even trends as to the frequency with which specs were made year to year.

Anybody care to grab a year and see what they can source?
