Write Now! 2014 Conference

I will be appearing in Raleigh, NC at the Write Now! Conference on May 3rd.

Write Now! 2014, Triangle Area Freelancers’ seventh annual freelance writing conference, will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Wake Technical Community College Northern Wake Campus in Raleigh — and it promises to be our best conference yet!

Our keynote speaker will be Joe Raiola, senior editor at MAD Magazine. And for the first time, Write Now! will be offering THREE informative sessions specifically for fiction writers: The Building Blocks of Fiction: Novel Structure, taught by Jennifer Delamere (Love’s Grace trilogy); Let’s Talk About Dialogue, taught by Elisa Lorello (Adulation, Ordinary World, Faking It); and The Science of Collaboration, taught by Clay and Susan Griffith (Vampire Empire trilogy).

Other Write Now! presenters include 2011 Piedmont Laureate Scott Huler, author of On The Grid; award-winning freelance writer Don Vaughan (Writer’s Digest, Military Officer Magazine, MAD Magazine); and Writer’s Digest contributing editor Linda Formichelli, author of The Renegade Writer: A Totally Unconventional Guide to Freelance Writing Success. In addition, veteran screenwriter and instructor Scott Myers will be teaching a session titled Breaking Into Hollywood: A Guide for Novice Screenwriters
