Writing question: What’s the best excuse you use NOT to write?

Two weeks from today, The Quest moves into the Prep part of the process, six weeks to wrangle our stories before typing FADE IN and pounding out pages. For those of you following along at home with Go On Your Own Quest, I though it would be fun this week for us to peer into our respective habits with a series of writing questions.

To wit: Beyond the generic “I don’t feel like writing today,” what excuse do you have that functions as your best reason not to write? And how do you manage to fight off that excuse and actually deposit butt on chair to write?
