It’s a Zero Draft Thirty tradition, beginning and ending each Challenge with a few words of wisdom from our Spirit Animal Shia Labeouf. Here is a rough transcription of his message: “JUST DO IT!!!”

A few hours before the start of this Challenge, I went for a run and came up with a new writing mantra:

“The difference
between the words ‘writing’ and ‘waiting’
is one tiny letter.
The difference in reality
is EVERYTHING.
Write now!”
