We did this last Saturday and it was a huge success.

Yes, we are doing this on a SATURDAY. That is the weekend. But for writers, a weekend is work-end. And now you’ve got company. Pick an hour. Join a writing scamper with the knowledge other writers around the globe are digging down and pounding out pages with you.
It’s the second ever Scamper-A-Thon! I suspect we’ll be doing one each week during the ZDT Challenge!

UPDATE: The other day, Justin Major posted something in the Facebook group:
And I’m writing, and I’m writing… Feel free to jump in wherever. This picture was from working on our new sink this weekend. Standing back and looking at it I felt it was a fitting example for how our story feels at times. Everything’s there just not sure how to fit it all together so it looks good and more importantly it works the way it is supposed to. Onward!!
p.s. In the interest of full disclosure I had to run to the hardware store to get new parts for some of that, but sometimes we all have to admit what we are working on just isn’t working and it needs new parts or a different take. Okay writing now. Good Luck All!!

One thing about a Zero Draft: It is a journey of discovery. You learn so much about what works… and what doesn’t work. Both are equally important in the story-crafting process, knowledge you can carry forward into rewrites. But you can’t put together the working parts unless you assemble them first. And that — in part — is why you do a Zero Draft: To assemble the parts.
