It’s a lizard. On some sort of carpet. The lizard is staring up. At you. And me. Allison Johnson, who posted this in the Zero Draft Thirty Facebook group accompanied the photo with this question:

Are you writing today?

I normally wouldn’t associate a lizard with a writing prompt, but as I peered deep into the creatures eyes… I could hear its tiny voice supplicating us to write. Like a Mentor figure. A wizard lizard.

Or I might have just been hallucinating.

In any event, for this colorful bit of inspiration, today’s recipient of the Trumbo Award is Allison Johnson!
