1,000,000!
Check this out:
This is a snapshot I just took of a graph from StatCounter.com, tracking activity the last 2 years on GITS. You’ll note with the blue column on the right, we just went over the 1 million mark for unique visits to the site in 2010.
I thought that was worth noting.
More fun with numbers:
1,608: The number of GITS followers via Google Reader
1,336: The number of GITS followers on Twitter
822: The number of GITS followers through Google Friend Connect
That’s nearly 4,000 followers of this blog.
Don’t forget the 365 writers who are members of The GITS Club, our peer script review site.
What does it all mean? I have no clue!
But I do want to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting what this site is about: A place to honor writers and keep up an ongoing dialogue about screenwriting, TV writing, writing plays, and writing in general. To start from nothing and in less than two-and-a-half years develop the quality and breadth of community we have here at GITS, it’s pretty amazing.
So thanks to each of you. And if you haven’t signed up to follow the site, I’d appreciate if you did.
Onward and upward!
