2012 Summer B.O.: It’s prediction time!
Here we are! Right before the summer movie season, the biggest time of year for the studios in terms of generating the majority of their annual theatrical revenues. This always leads to people predicting which movies will do what total business in what order. So let’s join in the fun and take your predictions.
Here is my Top 10, each movie with its domestic release date and predicted total:
1. The Dark Knight Rises (July 20): $600M
2. The Avengers (May 4): $450M
3. Brave (June 22): $300M
4. The Amazing Spider-Man (July 3): $275M
5. Prometheus (June 8): $200M
6. MIB 3 (May 25): $190M
7. The Bourne Legacy (August 3): $150M
8. G.I. Joe: Retaliation (June 29): $140M
9. Rock of Ages (June 15): $130M
10. Snow White and the Huntsman (June 1): $120M
