A couple of heads-ups — from Ryan Covert in comments and Josh James via his blog — about this address by Bill Mechanic, former CEO and Chairman of Fox Studios and now an independent producer (Pandemonium). It’s definitely a must-read. I don’t have time to comment on it tonight, but will try to post something in the next few days as there have been other related developments / discussions on the indie film route of late — worth adding into the mix.
