Coming to GITS in April!

Coming to GITS in April!

Apart from the usual daily fare of posts, two series next month:

* A Story Idea Each Day for a Month: Yes, I’m back for the second year in a row with 30 more story ideas which I’m giving away for free! They’re pulled from newspaper articles and online items, gathered over the course of the last 12 months. Each day, we’ll brainstorm various possible angles including a bit of genre-bending. To give you an idea of what to expect, go here:

* Screenwriting Groups: I’ve been in touch with several screenwriting groups here in the U.S. and plan on spotlighting one each week. As we all know, writing is a pretty lonely gig. Plus people who aren’t writers don’t ever quite grasp what it is to do what we do. Spending time with other writers is one benefit of joining a screenwriting group. There are plenty other reasons which we’ll get into during this series. By the way, if you are a representative of an established large screenwriting group in a major metropolitan area and would like to put out the word about what it is your group does, drop me an email. If I get enough responses, I may continue the series beyond April.

As always, if you have any suggestions for what you’d like to see on GITS or subject areas you’d like me to consider covering, feel free to post in comments or drop me an email.

And while we’re at it, let me send out positive vibrations and a juju pulsar to all GITS readers and writers!

Now go write your ass off!
