Daily Dialogue — July 8, 2010

“You killed my family. And I don’t like that kind of thing.”

 — The Chosen One (Steve Oederkerk), Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002), written by Steve Oedekerk

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week is comic understatements as suggested by Mike.

Trivia: To create the effect of bad dubbing, writer Steve Oedekerk wrote a script of nonsensical dialogue for the actors to say. The real dialogue was dubbed during post-production.
