Daily Dialogue theme for next week: Apologies
It’s apologies as suggested by Jason. It occurs to me it’s almost inevitable in a script, someone at some point must apologize to someone else.
How best to write those? Do you go on the nose and direct? Or off the nose and indirect? Do you deliver it with anger or humility, honesty or humor?
Hopefully we can learn some lessons this week with the examples GITS readers come up with.
So you know the drill: Please provide a copy/paste of dialogue from IMDB quotes. In order to earn some seriously good karma, find and post a relevant YouTube link.
What movie apologies leap to mind? Please post in comments.
We begin the series tomorrow with one of the most famous attempted apologies in cinema history culminating in perhaps the most memorable line of dialogue.
