Daily Dialogue theme for next week: Interrogations!
We’re wrapping up a week full of deathbed scenes (thanks for that suggestion, Gabe). Interesting to note that despite the conventional wisdom that subtext is always best, sometimes on the nose dialogue just flat out works. I guess the shadow of death tends to focus characters on being as honest as possible in the last moments of life.
Moving on, this week’s suggestion comes from Teddy Pasternak: Interrogations. This could be formal circumstances such as a police or military environment. Or a spontaneous situation where somebody grabs somebody up to roust them for a bit of information. There are boatloads of movie examples of this, so we should be in for a great week of Daily Dialogues.
