Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Celebrating victory!

We had some great suggestions and as a result have the next three weeks lined up:

1/16–22: Celebrating victory [Franklin Leonard].

1/23–1/29: Flashbacks [Alexander Gorelik].

1/30–2/5: Break-ups [Teddy Pasternak].

So this week, it’s celebrating victory.

Saint had an excellent take on how we can approach choosing our examples:

Victories is a great idea because of the variety. Celebrating a battle in an epic action film like 300 would be very different than winning in sports like Bend it like Beckham. Or a favorable verdict in a courtroom thriller such as Witness For The Prosecution verses the victory of motherhood in the drama Waitress or the success of friendship in a family movie like Toy Story.
It would be fun to pick seven different genres as I would suspect the dialog would be very different from genre to genre. And so would the victory.

You know the drill:

* Copy/paste dialogue from IMDB Quotes or other transcript sources.

* Copy/paste URL for accompanying video from MovieClips or YouTube.

See you in comments for your suggestions: Celebrating victory!
