Do you have questions for screenwriter David Seidler?
Back in September when I made this announcement about becoming the screenwriting blog of the Black List, GITS reader Debbie Moon summed it up rather well: “More of the same, but better? Sounds brilliant.”
Well, here you go:
* A few weeks ago, I spent 90 minutes on the phone talking with Mary Coleman, head of Pixar’s story department. We had a terrific conversation about Pixar’s approach to the story-crafting process and I will be sharing Mary’s illuminating observations with you in the near future.
* Last week, I had a great conversation with Academy Award winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black (Milk, J. Edgar), some remarkable insights into the craft and an inspiration to hear Lance’s passion for writing and movies. Look for that in the near future as well.
* And now a chance to speak with another Academy Award winning screenwriter David Seidler (The King’s Speech) whose personal and professional story is truly astonishing.
All of this because of the partnership with the Black List.
Now that these type of doors are opening, I figured why not present this opportunity to the GITS community [yes, I know that rhymes].
