Film Clips: “Damsels in Distress” [Whit Stillman]

Whit Stillman has not made a movie since 1998. His new one is Damsels in Distress. It looks great. Here are a couple of clips:

Remember Metropolitan (1990):

Barcelona (1994):

The Last Days of Disco (1998):

Early buzz on Damsels in Distress is it may be Stillman’s best yet.

I’m on the prowl for video interviews with Stillman. If anybody finds some, please post URLs in comments here or email. Definitely worthy of a Saturday feature.
