“Firefly” infographic
Many thanks to CarSort for this infographic: “18 Things You Didn’t Know About Firefly”.
I still miss the show. Perfect Friday night viewing for our entire family. In fact, Luke and I watched the entire run of the series again on the Science channel. For me, the series blended two of my favorite TV series that ran in reruns back to back in the afternoons when I was in high school: “Wild, Wild West” and “Star Trek.” You got your western. You got your sci-fi. Mix ’em up. Boom! You got “Firefly.”
Oh yeah, with characters suddenly breaking out in Chinese. That’s just the type of specific — and fun — bit of business you can expect from a team of writers headed up by Joss Whedon. Some of the episodes, like “Out of Gas,” were stellar entertainment. They’d set up all sorts of series-long storylines, then…
Ah well.
But perhaps the best piece of info in the infographic: “Joss Whedon now has the rights to continue the Firefly storyline in comic book form.”
