GITS!

Got a Tweet from Master_Mitchell who saw this license plate while driving around this weekend:

When I started using GITS as a handle for the site, readers in the UK reminded me that in their neck of the woods, a “git” is a silly, incompetent, stupid, annoying, senile elderly or childish person. Once I got over the possibility that could be a description of moi, I called up my good friend, a Mr. Jobs who works at a little company which shall remain nameless, but rhymes with Crapple.

Anyway I asked him how that whole iPad name brouhaha had worked out.

Turns out just a bit more than okey-dokey.

So I decided to stick with GITS. And now look [see photo above]. We’re taking over the world!
