One of my favorite items you post are the daily dialogues. Overall I can’t think of anything I could actually in full faith say have less of. Although there are two things I’d love if you were able to do more. When you have written and audio interviews with famous filmmakers and screenwriters they are informative and thought provoking, but to me personally, some of your most “inspirational” posts have been about up and coming filmmakers like nate winslow. So many times I hear from family and friends how what I am doing is so hard and I should stick with my current 9–5 and be safe and when I read that a kid around my age(I’m 22) is out there and actively making it happen it just invigorates me even more to attain success in my goals. So while I do love hitchcock telling me to put the fear in my audiences mind, which is still great stuff as I personally want to write a good horror movie because they are so hard to pull off, what gets me the most are the “these people are succeeding you can too” posts.
Nate has already responded and hopes to get back to an occasional guest post. But I open up this as a possibility to any of you who are in the ‘up-and-coming’ phase of your career. If you have some interesting insights, anecdotes, or stories about you and filmmaking, and you can write well, please draft something and forwarding it to me. I’ll consider posting on GITS for others to read.

A worthy recommendation. One thing I can do is look for more written and video interviews with TV writers to post on the weekends. In terms of guest posts, how about this:

Seriously if there are any professional TV writers out there — American, Canadian, UK, this solar system — and you’d like to spout off about some aspect of the craft and/or business of TV-writing, consider GITS as a platform for a guest post. Let me know via email.

Atlanta, it should be obvious by the meager appearance of this humble blog that I am not a design guy. In fact, the site is pretty much the same today as it was in May, 2008 when it launched. If there are some GITS readers who want to suggest changes to improve the look and functionality of blog, I’d welcome your ideas.
In the meantime, I am working on at least one way to mine the content on this site and present it in a more readable fashion. More on that soon.
Again always open to suggestions as long as they’re about the core stuff we do here: honor screenwriters, engender an ongoing dialogue about the craft of screenwriting, analyze movies and the movie business, and provide inspiration to feed our creative spirits.
