GITS Script Recommendation Compilation

Nate Winslow, who writes a guest column on GITS about his attempts to produce a $1M indie feature, has also kindly undertaken the task of creating a master list of all the recent GITS Script Recommendations with links where you can download PDFs of the scripts. Yes, a lot of work and I’m sure we all appreciate what Nate is doing.

At this point, the only scripts Nate is still looking for are these:

A Streetcar Named Desire

Dazed and Confused

Millers Crossing

Stand By Me

Toy Story 2

True Grit (not the Coens’ brothers version)

If you have a PDF for any of these scripts or know links for downloading them, please email me or post something in comments. Hopefully we’ll have the completed list soon.

And thanks to all of you for your recommendations. This should make it much easier for people to read great scripts per key categories, genres, and themes.

UPDATE #3: Just saw a preliminary version of the list via Nate and in all honesty, I think this will be a most welcome resource for writers. If we can find True Grit, great. But if not I hope to be able to post the list tomorrow. And yes, you will be able to click through each script to download PDFs — just like that.
