Please note:
* This is not the only time we will read and analyze an action script. Assuming we keep doing this series every week, I expect we will get to each genre at least 3–4 times per year.
* Next time around, we can revise and expand the list.
* Yes, I know some of these titles may seem to you to belong in another genre category. There will always be disagreements on this front because some stories are by nature organic and hard to pin down. The point is not about the genre, the point is about reading scripts.
So go to comments and vote. And if there’s another action script you think we should read, and it’s available for download at myPDFscipts, feel free to post it. Perhaps it will solicit enough support to get selected.
Tomorrow we will select the drama script for the week of September 19–25.
UPDATE: The votes are in for Action script and the winner is Gladiator. We will read that the week of September 5–11. Still working out the details of which draft to read. Hope to have that locked down in the next few days. More later.
UPDATE #2: Right now Bridesmaids seems to be the favorite, but not a lot of votes in at this point. So if your genre of choice is Comedy or you just happen to have a favorite comedy script you want to read, now is your chance to speak up. Please make your suggestion in comments.
