“Inception”: Film Analysis

Ah, Inception. The movie continues to compel people to analyze it. This latest piece from Darren Foley actually offering four possible takes on the movie, is quite good. Check it out:

Analysis like this is parallel to the experience of watching Inception, going deeper and deeper into the story’s levels of consciousness. It’s like a meta experience… as well as a lot of fun to kick around these ideas. I mean the characters as representations of a film crew? How grand of an idea is that!

I think it’s great to see all these theories floating around, not only about Inception, but any movie because that highlights the fact that a good story will generally have multiple layers of potential meaning, some intentional, others created through the mystery of storytelling.
