Indy Mogul
Received an email from the folks at Indy Mogul and I checked out their website. Good stuff.
Indy Mogul is the network dedicated to film fanatics and aspiring auteurs alike. Our shows are focused on DIY filmmaking, cheap special effects, movie reviews and conversations with high profile filmmakers and special guests.
Their shows include:
Backyard FX
DIY filmmaking guru Zack Finfrock and his group of Los Angeles filmmaker roommates show you how to recreate a new special effect for cheap every Monday on Backyard FX. Whether it’s a viewer request or an effect from the latest Hollywood movie, BFX recreates it for $50 bucks or less.
Beyond the Trailer
Grace Randolph takes viewers to the movies from the comfort of their own desktops every weekend with her roundup of Hollywood’s latest offerings, and what the fans really think. Don’t just watch the trailer — go beyond!
Film Fights TV
Film Fights TV is the show where we take two short films from the site Film Fights, and pit them against each other in a battle of epic proportions! Who decides the winner? Random people on the street and YOU, the voting public. We also get expert advice and tips from filmmakers, on how you can make your films better. Maybe in our next episode you’ll be seeing your film on the show, too!
Movie Buzz
Movie Buzz is a bi-weekly show on YouTube about the newest movie news in Hollywood. The show also features movie reviews. Each episode is packed with the latest movie news, trailers, and photos.
The Reel Good Show
LIVE! (at first) and then taped in the Indy Mogul studios, Bobby Miller interviews a new special guest every week and presents a variety of comedy ‘bits’ about filmmaking and the latest movies. The Reel Good Show broadcasts each shoot live, then releases an edited version of the taping on Thursdays.
The Best Short Films in the World
Best Short Films in the world features the work of filmmakers from around the web. Host Bobby Miller doesn’t get out very much, so every week he searches the Internet, and presents clips of that week’s best short films.
