Introduce yourself!
I tried this at the beginning of the year here and we all met a lot of cool writers who were either new to GITS or had been of the lurker persuasion, but decided to get into the swing of things.
So let’s try it again — a little ‘mixer’ if you will. After all, January 2010 set a record for traffic on the site, so there still seem to be people discovering GITS. Let’s use this as an opportunity for people to introduce themselves. What’s your background as a writer, where do you live, what type of genres do you prefer to work in, when you sell a spec script to a major Hwood studio, what will be your very first purchase, that sort of thing.
I know GITS gets a ton of readers who prefer not to comment — which is completely fine. But here’s a gift to anyone who hasn’t posted before (or only a few times) and uses this thread to let us learn a bit about you: A free virtual margarita!

That’s right! If you post a comment in this thread, you can enjoy this delicious virtual margarita [pictured above] made with virtual Patron Reposada tequila!
So come on in! Let us get to know a little bit about you and your interest in screenwriting, TV writing, movies, etc, and enjoy a tasty virtual beverage — courtesy of GITS!
UPDATE: In comments Steve Huerta (Just Hiltz) opened his introduction with a request:
Can I have a Coffee Nudge instead of a Margarita?
Your wish, as they say, is my command!
Enjoy!
