Jerusha & Jerod Hess (Gentlemen Broncos)

You probably love the movie Napoleon Dynamite (2004). And likely you know some of the movie’s storied background: How actor Jon Heder was paid $1,000 to play the lead role (the movie grossed over $40M); how the movie was edited on a Macintosh using Final Cut Pro; how the film ran out during Heder’s famous dance sequence, so what they cut together for the movie is taken from all of 10 minutes of film.

You may also remember that the movie was co-written by the husband and wife team of Jared Hess & Jerusha Hess (Jared directed the movie).

Well, the Hess’s are back with what looks like another quirky, fun movie called Gentlemen Broncos.

A H/T to GITS reader Jeff Messerman for sending me this link featuring a quick behind-the-scenes featurette with Jerusha Hess. The ‘interviewer’ is Sam Rockwell looking a lot like how I imagined John the Baptist when I was a kid.
