Dan Halsted is a manager and producer who owns and operates Manage-ment, a literary representation company he founded in 2004. He started his career working with Scott Rudin at 20th Century Fox, then joined United Talent Agency to work as an agent before leaving for Disney to return to producing under Michael Eisner and Jeffrey Katzenberg. Shortly thereafter, Dan left Disney to form a joint production company with Oliver Stone. In 1999, with such films under his belt as THE UNTOUCHABLES, THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY, NIXON and ANY GIVEN SUNDAY, Dan signed onto his own first-look deal with Mandalay Pictures to produce several films, including S.W.A.T. and the award-winning GARDEN STATE and THE VIRGIN SUICIDES. Now with Manage-ment, his clients write, produce and direct many of the most critically-acclaimed shows on television, including MAD MEN and BREAKING BAD, as well as have several films in development, such as this fall’s THE KILLER ELITE starring Robert De Niro, Clive Owen and Jason Statham.
