Movie Trailer: “War Horse”
Follows a young man named Albert and his horse, Joey, and how their bond is broken when Joey is sold to the cavalry and sent to the trenches of World War One. Despite being too young to enlist, Albert heads to France to save his friend.
Literally tens of thousands of horses died in military service during World War I. This story, brought to life by children’s novelist Michael Morpurgo, has all the elements of an epic tale.
“War Horse” is also a smash Broadway play, winner of 5 Tony Awards including Best Play.
The movie’s screenplay was adapted by Richard Curtis and Lee Hall.
The film is scheduled for release on Decembmer 28, 2011.
