Network Hollywood: Marketing Your Script — Building Your Career [Fall 2011]

My colleague Tom Benedek, screenwriter (Cocoon, Free Willy) and co-founder of Screenwriting Master Class, is following up the hugely successful initial offering of Network Hollywood with another session beginning next Monday, November 28. The 2-week online class is a unique combination of workshops, taped interviews and live chats with entertainment industry insiders including screenwriters Emily Cook & Kathy Greenberg (Ratatouille, Gnomeo & Juliet, The L Word), literary agent Kheya Kayatian (United Talent Agency), manager-producer Gavin Polone (“Gilmore Girls,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” Zombieland), VP of Creative Affairs at Double Feature Films Josh Rothstein (Extraordinary Measures), producer Michael Shamberg (Out of Sight, Eric Brockovich, Contagion, Pulp Fiction), Scriptshadow and an anonymous studio executive.

Here is a taste of what to expect from the session:

Do you want inside information about how Hollywood works?

Do you want to have the opportunity to ask your questions to industry professionals?

Do you want learn all about query letters, loglines and pitches, screenplay contests, working with managers and agents, plus specific strategies to help put you in the position to succeed as a professional screenwriter?
