Popcorn Fiction: “Bucket List Killer Meets Dan Patrick” by Jack Walker

Another short story from the terrific site “Popcorn Fiction,” hosted by screenwriter Derek Haas:

One of the things I’ve loved about editing this site over the last 2 years is getting to discover new talent, new voices…authors with whose work I wasn’t familiar. After reading the title, I figured this story would be one thing…and where it went surprised me. Jack Walker’s story is in the form of well…half an interview / half a deposition…and those familiar with Dan Patrick’s column in Sports Illustrated will recognize the format. A killer’s request to be interviewed by the sports commentator is granted in this odd tale from novelist Walker. I look forward to reading more from him!
