Popcorn Fiction: “Moving Day: A Commander Future Story” by Drew McWeeny
Another short story from Popcorn Fiction, the excellent site hosted by screenwriter and novelist Derek Haas:
No story we published received more attention than Drew McWeeny’s “The Interview.” He introduced the character of Commander Future…and the story straddled the line between the real world and those imagined in comic books. It felt at once both fantastic and authentic.
Well, Commander Future is back and dragging his would-be biographer Peter Underhill along for another ride. We get to see a great deal more of what the Commander is up against, and a glimpse of the enemy is almost more than Underhill can bear. I really look forward to hearing your thoughts.
