I love this week’s story. The best part of this new partnership with Mulholland Books has been getting acquainted with excellent crime authors I didn’t know. Charlie Huston has published a ton of noir books since 2005, including the best-selling, critically acclaimed The Mystic Arts of Erasing All Signs of Death. Anyway, I’m delighted to publish his story “The Impossibility of a Diaphanous History Machine.” It centers on a pair of rival bomb makers who, let’s just say, don’t trust each other at all.
