Popcorn Fiction: “The Lacerations” by Nick Antosca

New short story from screenwriter Derek Haas’ terrific website Popcorn Fiction:

I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday and that you haven’t yet broken your New Year’s resolutions. I’m looking forward to a great 2011 with some excellent new fiction. Speaking of which, today we’re bringing you Nick Antosca’s “The Lacerations” which I found to be all kinds of creepy fun. It centers on a guy who sees every cut, stab, gash or incision that broke someone’s skin as he looks at him or her. This particular curse/gift causes all sorts of suffering for the narrator as he tries to help a girl and solve a mystery. Yep, my kind of tale. I hope you enjoy it.
